Subject	Need opinions on helmets and such

Message	Okay, Done a bit of research, and was curious what the consensus is on helmets. Question 1: Full face vs Open Face My thoughts that in the event of actually needing a helmet....more is better=closed face. Question 2: I am AT BEST a weekend racer. I will use the helmet 3-6 times a year probably. Hopefully doing more road courses and getting up to a pretty good speed. So what is needed as far as ratings? I also plan to autocross my car and my wifes car. Maybe go to the drags eventually, but not right now. What rating do I want to get (including fireprotection or no). Question 3: Motocycle vs Auto helmet. Difference? Other than ratings? Question 4: Places to buy? I am looking right now on [ www.summitracing.com. ] Any places I should look @ that are better? In general, just looking to see what the guys that are racing like/dislike. This is my first helmet, and I don't plan on replacing it for a while. Like to know what helmets are more comfortable than others, and what actually breathes pretty well. thanks for the info gang. chris.
